USAID Supports YBF for Local Governance Project in Western Region

Youth Bridge Foundation has received USAID's Grant to implement a Local Governance initiative in two (2) Municipalities and one (1) District of the Western Region of Ghana under USAID’s Local Governance and Decentralization Program (LOGODEP). The Foundation is among the first batch of fourteen (14) small grants recipients drawn from Ghanaian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

The words of World Bank Group President, Robert B. Zoellick (April 6, 2011) that “CITIZEN’S GREATER PARTICIPATION, EMPOWERMENT AND BETTER GOVERNANCE ARE CRUCIAL FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT” is valid for the entire Africa and not limited to Middle East and North Africa.
