Mpuntu Award (Community/Social Development)
Selfless dedication to the course of humanity/society through any of the following;
- Exceptional courage in times of danger
- Acts that demonstrate love and espouses the protection of fundamental human rights of people in a community
- Acts of innovation promoting community development
Entrepreneurship Award
- Young people who have demonstrated creativity / innovation established their own businesses
- Youth who are encouraging/advocating for entrepreneurial skills in other young people
- Exceptional leadership and achievement in community venture
Leadership Award
- Exceptional demonstration of leadership in all spheres of human endeavours
- Young people who exhibit leadership potential in public and private sector
- Young people who have led by example and inspired their fellows to same or even greater heights.
Special Awards
This award will be given by Youthbridge Foundation to individuals, groups and corporate bodies that have excelled in any other field apart from the above categories that contribute directly or indirectly to youth development. The award will also go to individuals, groups and corporate bodies that have supported the course of youth development in Africa.
