![alt]() Ever dined with crocodiles, or walked on a 40 metre high hanging bridge. If not, please do not hesitate to join the AYGC Tour bus on a stimulating tour of Cape Coast.
The Conference Secretariat, as part of preparations for the upcoming conference has put together a tour package to help delegates unwind. However this tour is optional and comes at the cost of $20 when payment is made in advance. Payment on arrival for the tour costs $25. The tour which comes of on the 13th of August will have the first port of call as the Cape Coast Castle, the 357 old slave castle known the world over as one as the major slave centres in Africa, and recently the focus of foreign media attention due to the visit of the Obama family to the castle during their first trip to Africa as the first family of the United States of America. A true must see for every African visiting Ghana.
From the castle, the conference tour bus heads on to the Kakum National Park, which boasts of a 40m high canopy walkway noted for providing a bird’s eye view of the forest and its environs, whilst butterflies and birds float by in the breeze, pygmy elephants and a host of other wild animals living in their natural habitats. This is a sight worth visiting and enjoying, every time and anytime.
The tour bus then moves on to the Hans Cottage, a holiday resort situated by the sea. A perfect relaxation spot with waves splashing against the beach, cool breeze blowing over the shore, and scintillating music in the background, it is truly going to be day to remember. A boat cruise along the peaceful shores of Ghana, whilst crocodiles swim and rest along the banks, oblivious of the curious and somewhat fearful eyes watching and marveling their every move awaits you at the Hans Cottage. There would be beach fun and games and a jamboree to round up the day. This is a truly perfect way to round up a wonderful learning experience at the African Youth and Governance Conference, Accra 2010.

We will be waiting to welcome you to Accra and show you the wonderful things Ghana has to offer.
