Guidelines for speakers
•    Speakers will have access totheir presentation room 30 minutes prior to your presentation. If your session is in the first timeslot of the day, or the first session following a program hiatus, you will have access to your room 60 minutes prior to your session. Workshop staff will check on you prior to your session, and can assist or call on a technician to assist with any set-up issues you might have.  

•    Your presentation room will automatically be furnished with the following Audio-Visual Equipment:

  • Computer projection device (LCD projector) with connection cables for PC and one large screen.
  • Two microphones for the lectern and the head table will be provided.adiitional microphones will not be ordered
  • If you plan to show video clips, please load them onto your laptop and request a sound patch with your AV request; the Secretariat will not provide VHS/DVD projectors due to increasing AV, labor, and patch costs..


AYG-Conference secretariat will NOT provide


•    Laptops/computers, presenters are responsible for bringing their own.
•   Lines for Internet hook-ups in the presentation rooms — please beprepared to show static (not live) samples of any websites you wish todisplay.
•    Connection cables for MAC computers (VGA and audio)
•    Any other AV equipment including: VHS/DVD projectors or overhead projectors

 

There will be three types of sessions; 

 

  • The Plenary Sessions( 1hr) 
  • The Group Sessions( 2 hrs)
  • The Workshop Sessions( 1hr 30mns)

 

When submitting a presentation, kindly request the appropriate type of session to your presentation.
