Pioneer Delegates

It was great to be part of the premier conference and it made me realize that it is not enough to sit in your corner and think things will work out themselves. We have to make things work for us in this continent of ours if we want better results -   Golda Esi Eshun, Ghana

After the last conference I realized that at my age there where things that I could do to change the conditions around me which I was not doing. I have since developed the habit to talk to people when I get the opportunity; of the need to change the situations around them. This time around I would like to concentrate more on the mobilization because of a personal interest I developed during the discussion segment on that pillar -   Binda Leticia, Ghana

I was there before and I desire to leave my footprints for the generation behind. Nigeria has come up with a think tank group on youth and governance; therefore we hope to be in Ghana again to strengthen the network -    Karu Simon, Nigeria

We started it all in 2009 (pioneer delegate), and we must continue and finish it up. My belief is that it is destiny coming to pass. Contributions are more than I can write... Note therefore that, our objectives (AYGC) shall be achieved. See you there at the conference soon, 2010 -   Richard King, Ghana

I was a pioneer delegate and I love the starting point. Knowing where we started from, where we are and where we are going to...the understanding of this vision motivated me to be part of this -   Ogunlola Babatunde Adedapo, Nigeria

When I attended last year we were able to form a group called G25 by all Nigerian delegates who were in attendance last year, to ensure the successful ratification of the youth charter in my country Nigeria     -   Idowu Abiodun Monsurat, Nigeria

I am motivated by what I learnt during last year conference. I will like to share my experience in youth work with the other delegates especially by delivering a paper titled The Role of Youths in Governance: Nigeria as a case study -   Adegoke Olanrewaju Mayowa, Nigeria

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
